Well, 2024! Almost a quarter of this century is gone! I remember worrying about my daughter, Sarah, going to an all-night party at a club in London for the millennium. Now she has a teenage daughter of her own!
However, here I sit in my house in Spain, with the door open, despite it being January. The evenings and nights can be cold, but the daytime, more often than not, is sunshine and blue skies, so I am not complaining.
Last year was a hard year, having to cancel our summer holiday and my being in pain whilst waiting for my hip operation. Nonetheless, now I am completely recovered and going from strength to strength.
Are you one for making resolutions, and if so, are they the sort that have already been forgotten, less than three weeks into the new year? I normally do not make resolutions, but this year I am. This year I am going to do my very utmost to get book two in the Morgan Morales series published. I made some efforts last year, but in reality it was not enough.
I have to face the truth that I need to put some serious effort into it. Enough people have told me that they enjoyed reading “A Woman Scorned”, and that they were looking forward to the sequel, so it is my job to fulfil their request.
Therefore, regardless of what it takes in time and effort, I shall get book two “O What a Tangled Web” published this year! There now, I have set it down in black and white, so there is no going back now! You are all my witnesses, so I cannot deny it, my resolution is set in stone.
I wish you all a Very Happy and Healthy 2024, and may this year bring peace to the world. Now, if you will excuse me, I have some work to do, a resolution to fulfil !
